[Openmcl-devel] user submissions and open-sourceness

Thanks for the input Peter. Trac (http://trac.clozure.com/openmcl) is
already there, and I think it might do the job. For a desired
feature, open a ticket for an enhancement (after making sure there
isn't already a ticket for that feature). Then, anyone can add their
votes or comments about the feature to the ticket. Clozure can use
this feedback to determine the priority of desired features and bug
fixes. Also, people who want to contribute the code for the
enhancement, can assign it to themselves. The comment area for a
ticket can be used to keep everyone up to date on progress.

Also, the existing wiki (http://trac.clozure.com/openmcl/wiki) is
underutilized by the community at the moment. This could be used for
designs, discussions, or anything else of interest to the CCL
community. We can encourage people to use Trac tickets and the wiki
by sending email to openmcl-devel whenever something of general
interest happens there. Clozure is very interested in encouraging the
community of CCL users and contributers. So, go ahead. Start a wiki
page for "What I'd like to see in CCL" or something like that, that
others can contribute to or comment on. Open tickets for feature
requests (and bugs of course). Clozure will definitely use this to
help decide where to put our efforts into CCL.
