Thank you.  By "device" I presume it means whatever is on the receiving end of the communication from the CCL program (i.e., in this case the Xming server?).

Networking works fine, unfortunately (it wouldn't be Windows if this were easy).  I can ping 127.0.0.1, and I run Trac on my machine and have no problems accessing that with Firefox.  The machine I have was 'given' to me by my company, and they load all sorts of anti-virus, VPN, and asset managing software onto the machine.  Lord knows what all that software is doing.
