[Openmcl-devel] Base64 encoding

I am working on trying to get a file upload going from a CCL application using an http-post to a Drupal 7 website, and I have discovered that I need to base64 encode the file I am sending.  Is there anything hidden in CCL that might help accomplish this?  Or has anyone used any libraries that are CCL compatible that are able to do base64 encoding?
