[Openmcl-devel] Clozure errors on Mac OS

The current state is that CCL runs on Catalina and CCL runs on older versions of MacOS, but not the same CCL. You have to have different compiled versions.  (I believe the same source can be compiled for both those platforms.)

Matt Emerson, the current maintainer of CCL is well aware of the issue. He hasn’t had time to dig in and figure it out yet, but it is on his radar.
