   I'll admit, it's something I've thought about, too.  But I decided it 
was
too obsessive, so I never mentioned it. ^_^  Well, it's not my decision
to make.

   You can just use -n -l filename.  -n suppresses the default and -l
provides yours.  You can also provide more than one -l argument.
-i would effectively just be a shorthand for this.
