I got it compiled but not-yet-running-properly on mac.  One of my hacks 
shortened an array without fixing the array-length?  or something.

It required nontrivial changes to convince the kdebindings CMAKE system to 
compile on a system without installing all of KDE.  Ping me if you'd like 
the diffs.
