Thanks - I've opened tickets for the remaining items in my 'Visual  
Bugs in the IDE' thread.

I also finally got the chance to try the IDE again for some real coding.

the effort failed about 10 lines in when I had to enter a # character.  
(ticket 511 'it is hard to type # on a uk keyboard')
