nbody.python and regexdna.python DO work - they are provided as a basic ini file configuration check, and if that check fails there's something that needs to be re-configured in your ini file.

Perhaps just what the readme.txt suggests -

 QUICK FIXES

 Check PYTHON in the [tools] section of makefiles/my.*.ini is correct
