[Openmcl-devel] future of Mac OS X PowerPC ports

Clozure CL 1.7 is scheduled for release in July of this year, and I'm starting to think that it might be time to drop support for the Mac OS X PowerPC ports.  That would make 1.6 the last release to support PowerPC on Mac OS X.

I don't know how many Mac OS X PowerPC users are still out there, but it's been looking grim for Mac OS X on PowerPC for a while now.
