Great, thanks.  I'd like to change my non-existant vote to "please consider
adding info about this option to www.quicklisp.org/beta."  Different people
may have different views about what default verbosity should be, but
when trying to diagnose a problem (or submitting a bug report so that
someone else can do so) verbosity's almost always preferable to the
alternative.
