[Openmcl-devel] delete key => cut

I am using CCL 1.8.1 on Mac OS 10.9.1 and one thing that I’d like to fix is the fact that (against my wishes) the delete key puts the stuff I deleted on the clipboard, over-writing the stuff I wanted there. Is there a way to fix it so that the delete key simply deletes, but doesn’t touch the clipboard?
