Hi,

there is a question on stackoverflow about saving an executable on Mac OS X:

  http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27089578/can-not-compile-to-a-native-executable-with-clozure-cl-on-os-x-10-10-yosemite <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/27089578/can-not-compile-to-a-native-executable-with-clozure-cl-on-os-x-10-10-yosemite>

The person uses the CCL from the Apple Macintosh Store with ccl:save-application!

My understanding is that it is not easily possible to save a non-gui application from that GUI IDE application. Right?
If that is true, I haven’t found an obvious place in the documentation saying that. It might be that I was not able to find it...
If it is really not in the documentation, it would be useful to mention it.

It would then also useful to mention that:

* for a non-gui application one has to use the CCL distribution from ccl.clozure.com <http://ccl.clozure.com/>

* for a GUI application one has to use the application builder, as in the documentation.

Regards,

Rainer Joswig
