[Openmcl-devel] additional 1.11.x release?

The 1.12 development version still needs some debugging, so I'm thinking that it might be a good idea to do another 1.11.x release.

11.11.5 (or whatever) would:

  * change the output of (lisp-implementation-version) to look like "Clozure Common Lisp Version 1.12-dev/v1.12-dev.0-35-g09fc19ba" rather than "Clozure Common Lisp Version 1.11-r16812M"

I wonder if this would have bad effects on ASDF's fasl caching scheme.

  * fix some bugs that are already fixed in the 1.12 development branch

  * refresh the release binaries to run on current systems

Any thoughts on this idea?
