[Openmcl-devel] App Store CCL 11.1.7 Catalina crashes

Follow-up to my preceding post of last Mon, 20 Jan
Hello all,
- Clozure CL 1.11.7 from the App Store for macOS 10.15 Catalinasometimes crashes immediately at launch (double-clic or from Dock),perhaps depending on what has happened during a former work session.AltConsole then says:> Error: #<A Foreign Pointer #x1931EB0> has no slot named GUI::PEER.> While executing: #<CCL::STANDARD-KERNEL-METHOD SLOT-MISSING (T T T T)>, in process Initial(0).
- When it starts OK, everything works fine, but SOMETIMES crashes whenopening a file in an editor window (i.e. <command>-O).AltConsole then says:> Error: #<A Foreign Pointer #x43D200> has no slot named GUI::PEER.> While executing: #<CCL::STANDARD-KERNEL-METHOD SLOT-MISSING (T T T T)>, in process Initial(0).
- If a file opened correctly in an editor window, then a crash happenswhen closing it (i.e. <command>-W).AltConsole then says:Unhandled exception 4 at 0x7fff68b9748e, context->regs at #x7ffeefbfe470Exception occurred while executing foreign code at _os_unfair_lock_corruption_abort + 23
=> The problem seems to be in the open/close file interface to the Mac GUI.
=> It is temporarily possible to work using a separate text editor(I simply use TextEdit), but one then misses all the specialised LISPeditor commands... until one does <command>-O or -W without thinking!
