I would describe it as a lot harder than porting SBCL or CMUCL to
NetBSD.

I spent about a month on it a few years ago and gave up.

The cross-compilation functionality in CCL looked to have bitrotted and
I couldn't work out what was broken.

The Linux CCL binary also does something that isn't handled by the
Linux emulation system on NetBSD so you would have to use something
else as the initial build host.
