Does anyone have a set of instructions for setting up CCL on an Intel Mac 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 running Big Sur 11.5.2, so I can test his examples?

In particular, the number of people who are sufficiently familiar with how it works under the hood to be able to actually do something like the M1 port is very small, certainly less than 10, possibly less than 5. If we were talking about wildlife they’d be listed as critically endangered. So for the long run I’m much more worried about generational knowledge transfer than the M1 port. That will buy some time, but one thing is pretty clear and that is that the Apple platform will forever be a moving target (and it’s not altogether clear to me that it will continue to be one worth shooting at).

If someone is interested in stepping up to that plate I would consider picking that back up again.
