[Openmcl-devel] Tax deductibility of contributions to the M1 port

If a campaign were to be done under auspices of the  Common Lisp Foundation (CLF), that goes through the ALU in the U.S., which is a 501(c)3.

I don’t know about the majority of donors, but a 501(c) can accept money from donor-directed charitable funds, which would probably be appealing to the well-heeled. And note that unreimbursed business expenses are generally no longer deductible (since 2018).
