Modulo the point Tim makes about there being no standard way in CL for report failure on finish-output/close et al. this doesn't seem to be a CCL issue any more than it is an issue for C++ or Go or Java. This is about the application developer accounting for file system semantics. The OP seems to imply that CCL should be doing something, and the fact it doesn't is somehow a bad thing. Maybe I'm reading more into it than there is, but this isn't something CCL can or should do anything about.<br>
