Is CCL's FFI system (including the Interface Database) sufficiently/entirely grounded in standard Common Lisp in such a way that it could be used on other CL implementations (e.g., SBCL)?
I'm new to the Lisp programming environment and I'm curious about code portability between CL implementations. FFI seems like it might be a delicate point.
