    <p>I've run into hard to debug issues when it comes to threading and
      using cffi libraries.  But the symptoms of the problem were all
      over the place.  Given that this is just my anecdote, I suspect
      that it is my fault in some way, but I don't seem to have the
      right stuff to figure it out.<br>

    <p>Other than that, there is built in support for getting access to
      the win32 api if you find that valuable.</p>
