[Openmcl-devel] Lisp User Interface - time to play

I would not call this a release but we have been playing with CCL and  
Cocoa for a while to explore how to port our XMLisp/MCL based 2D and  
3D interface to CCL. The code is really just a feasibility study to  
see how much code is needed to create a portable Lisp User Interface  
kit that works well on the Mac.

If you could have a look at the examples.lisp file (which  
automatically opens) and eval some of the sample user interfaces. Let  
me know if you get this to work, or why not. Suggestions for  
extensions are welcome. If you even make it to the point, where you  
add new controls that would be super exciting. Especially if you  
manage to get this to work on CCL windows, or at least have a good  
story on how to tackle that, we may have a job for you. So far  
Cocotron sound like the best bet but Gary may need some additional  
motivation to explore this further.

So far we conclude that LUI works quite well on CCL Mac Cocoa but the  
windows version is the real challenge.
