Hi Peter,
Thank you for advice!!
I tried this at once but I am still in the
Welcome to Clozure Common Lisp Version 1.3-dev-r11866M-trunk  
(DarwinX8632)!

but I think that I do have control over my directories and before I  
sent the mail I did a new /trunk directory. but no difference.
I also thewed away the preferences...
I rebooted,//
Hrm, I can't think of anything else to do...!
