Are you familiar with Apple's implementation of sandboxing?  It currently provides a very limited set of entitlements.  If they don't expand these, it will be difficult to have full-fledged Common Lisp running in the Apple sandbox.

I hope I'm wrong and you're right!  I guess we'll see.
