[Openmcl-devel] Optimizing ccl

According to this, and my own testing, the comment regarding declaim and ccl seems to hold true.  the clhs for declaim doesn't provide much illumination.  Is there a good writeup regarding how to make use of the optimization and type declaration constructs for ccl?
