I've lost touch with Alice Hartley;  Bill St Clair and I also worked for 
Digitool and both work for Clozure now, Digitool used some Apple vcs 
that was
(somehow) accessible over the net; Bill and I left in 1997 and I think 
that Alice just maintained the sources on her local machines after 
that.  The Rosetta-based MCL (rmcl) was in svn at some point and I 
suspect that the repo is still on some Clozure server somewhere.
In 1997, Ron (Garrett) and I were both working at JPL, which had 
acquired an MCL source license.  I think that I still had a copy of what 
Alice had
sent us, but I had a fire last year and don't have that any more.


When the subject has come up in discussions, I think that many people 
involved in those discussions have concluded that old MCL sources were 
long gone
